This morning, I had the opportunity to meet with a guy from church, and through him, God taught me some valuable lessons. One of the lessons that has stuck with me through the day is his view on the way a lot of people are talking to God. I’m paraphrasing here, but this is the basic idea of what he said:
I realize this might not apply to you, but it did apply to me. When he said this, I was reminded of a lot of my prayers to God, when I was shouting at Him or demanding things from Him. Not all of my communication with Him has been like this, but enough to be convicted for what I have done. I have spent the rest of the day talking “nice” to God. Mainly, I’m just trying to speak to Him as the Heavenly Father that He is. It has made a huge difference in my prayers today, and I have felt a lot different when talking to Him. I almost feel like maybe I’m being heard more. It’s been a revelation, to know that I don’t need to scream and yell like a child to be heard by my Father.
This isn’t a lesson to be forgotten, and I will surely remember it forever! If you’re reading this, thanks again Keith! To God be the Glory!
Side Note: I apologize to all Internet Explorer visitors. It has been brought to my attention that this website is not being displayed properly in IE (not a shock). I would encourage you to upgrade to a modern browser that supports proper CSS coding. My recommendation would be Mozilla Firefox. It’s free and it protects your computer from viruses, unlike IE (which is harmful for your computer). I am working on fixing the bugs, so that IE will display the page properly, but I’m not sure when this problem will be fixed. Thanks again for reading!

It’s ridiculous how some of us try putting on a facade before our very own Abba. Oh time with Him is truly exciting!
I come from the hindu faith and was healed of cancer of the bone and muscles at the age of 9 through faith in Him. Ever since, I have been totally taken up by this Person Yeshua. His love blows my mind! Such extravagance! He’s the best thing that ever happened to me….being with Him brings such freshness, such dynamic and throbbing life….Hallelu Yah!
